Zuisenji
Zuisen-ji is a tranquil Zen temple located in the eastern hills of Kamakura. Founded in 1327, it is known for its beautiful rock garden carved directly into the natural hillside—an early and rare example of landscape design integrated with nature.
Often called the “Temple of Flowers,” Zuisen-ji is especially charming in plum blossom and autumn foliage seasons. Tucked away from the busy center of Kamakura, it offers a peaceful atmosphere and a perfect place to rest after completing the Tenen Hiking Course.
