There are two types: Shiromon (White Satsuma), which is primarily used for ornaments and figurines, and Kuromon (Black Satsuma), which is often used for items such as sake utensils for drinking shochu and other beverages. Ryumonjiyaki is a school of Satsuma ware that continues the tradition of Kuromon. Touring the pottery studio is not included. Only the shop next to the pottery studio will be visited.
