Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
Proceed to Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, the Temple of the First Egyptian Female ruler – the first of its kind. The Temple consists of three imposing terraces, there is the famous scene of the transportation of Hatshepsut’s two obelisks and a scene that represents the Queen offering four calves to Amon Ra.Also, the journey to Punt (now called Somalia) was the first pictorial documentation of a trade expedition that was recorded, and discovered, in ancient Egypt.
