Estadio Nacional Mane Garrincha
The stadium is part of the Ayrton Senna Sports Complex, which also includes the Nilson Nelson Sports Gymnasium and the Brasilia Nelson Piquet International Speedway, among others. Opened in 1974, the stadium had the capacity to accommodate 45,200 people.

Buriti Palace
The Buriti Palace, designed by architect Nauro Jorge Esteves to be the seat of the Federal District Government. Inaugurated in 1969, its name is derived from the plant symbol of Brasilia. A specimen of the plant was planted in the square in front of the Palace.
