Melbourne Hebrew Congregation
This magnificent shul was built in 1932 obviously because there was a sizeable jewish community in the area.
Sadly no longer. The 1200 seat auditorium is often used for cantorial concerts .
Over the high holidays the shul is popular for worshippers who have a family tradition of attending services.

Melbourne Holocaust Museum
this brand new memorial has the latest in audio visual equipment plus huge amounts of items on display. The main object is to show the world what hatred results in and to combat antisemitism a everlasting plague among the nations.
