Ice climbing is a sport where you quickly learn the basics and get started. As with many other activities, Sälen is a good place to start. We have a simple wall for beginners in Sälen, one wall in Älvdalen for is step two, and for those more experienced there is Njupeskär - Sweden's highest waterfall. As ice has changing properties, one place can be good for beginners as well as giving experienced climbers new challenges. Ice can create amazingly beautiful formations, taking on this challenge gives you both adrenaline and endorphin - an incredibly strong feeling of overcoming height and learn the techniques.
