Cala Benirras still retains a certain hippie air and a special magic that will make you fall in love with its sunset to the sound of the drums! The photograph of the sunset behind 'the finger of God', as it is popularly known as the islet that emerges from the water in this area, is one of the most used in the tourist promotion brochures of Ibiza. In the late afternoon, just before sunset, the left end of the beach becomes a makeshift stage where the show takes place. There one will feel the true hippy nature of the island, buy some nice souvenirs, and indulge into a very “local” atmosphere of the island.
