The day begins with hotel pickup in Cusco early in the morning as we head toward the village of Qorao. Along the way, we make a brief stop in Qorao, where you can observe extensive agricultural fields cultivated since ancestral times. The journey then continues to the community of Siwar (3,762 m / 12,342 ft), the starting point of the hike.
The trekking route follows a dirt trail with a moderate incline up to Pucajasa Pass (4,393 m / 14,412 ft), offering panoramic views of the Urubamba mountain range. The descent then begins, crossing ancient sections of the Inca Trail and experiencing the gradual changes in the Andean ecological zones.

Juchuy Coscco
Upon arrival at the Huchuy Qosqo archaeological complex (3,688 m / 12,100 ft), a guided visit provides insight into its history and significance. Afterwards, the trail descends to the village of Lamay (2,938 m / 9,639 ft), where a local lunch prepared by community members is enjoyed. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Ollantaytambo, where the train is taken to Aguas Calientes for an overnight stay and preparation for the following day’s visit.
