Tradition has it that everyone tries to pass over or as close as possible to the Belvedere Civic Tower which overlooks the city and then descends and lands on one of the many grass fields that surround Mondovì.
Mondovì has a special charm because it is the only place where it is possible, with a bit of luck on a clear day, to be able to observe the snowy Monviso on one side and the sea to Corsica on the other.
