We provide a controlled environment for safe horseback riding for kids and beginners, and a petting zoo. We have a 24,440 sqft equestrian center with a spectacular view of Mississippi river sunsets. Our location is wonderful, with nature all around us.
Our horses are calm and happy in this place. They love to be petted and groomed. The goats, pigs, and chickens are friendly, and will eat out of your hands. Rub the pigs belly, scratch the goat, feed meal worms to the chickens, and watch the smiles grow on your family's faces. The ducks provide comical quacking as they waddle around the property. From Galena, take Blackjack road towards Chestnut mountain ski resort. After about 6 miles turn right at the sign for the Goldmoor Inn. Go to the bottom of the hill - turn left - take the first entrance on the left. We are in the large yellow Equestrian Center.

Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
Slow and controlled horseback rides. We start slow and we end slow. Wrangler Roger leads the horse and riders take turns one at a time. Folks not riding can walk alongside, take pictures, lead the mini horse, and pet the other animals before, during, and after the rides. Focus is on kids, but we also give rides to beginner adults. (200 lb. max for horse rides, 50 lb. max for mini-horse rides). We have friendly horses, mini horse, goats, mini pigs, guinea pigs, dogs, chickens, ducks, and a kitty. Safety is first priority, followed closely by fun. We operate rain or shine in our 60’ x 160’ indoor riding arena, outdoor riding arena or in pastures surrounding our 24,440 sqft facility.
