Our half day beach ride is about 2 hours of horseback riding with a stop at one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Plata. Our half day beach ride is about 2 hours of horseback riding with a stop at one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Plata. Rancho Salvare
We start at Rancho Lorilar calle 7 in Muñoz. We head up the mountain to Muñoz and stop at a local canteen for a drink, returning through San Peña to the ranch.

Malecon Puerto Plata
Residents of Puerto Plata proudly declare that theirs is the most beautiful beachfront boulevard in the Dominican Republic. And you will understand it when you see the multiple white sand beaches that line the main avenue of the city, each one with its name. Aside from beach days in the city center, the long, shaded boulevard sidewalk is ideal for morning or evening walks, the sunrises here are spectacular. You can also stop at one of the various bars and restaurants that line the Malecón, or take a bike ride along the bike path. Enjoy the breeze, have a sunset drink, or get some exercise by walking along the Boardwalk to Long Beach. Numerous events take place along the boulevard throughout the year, including the Puerto Plata Carnival.
