Depart in the morning for Ugii Lake, traveling along smooth paved roads before transitioning to a scenic 90 km stretch of dirt road that leads to the lake. Upon arrival, take time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Ugii Lake is home to over 150 species of birds, making it a great spot for birdwatching and fishing.
In the afternoon, visit a local nomadic family to learn about their traditional lifestyle and livestock herding practices. This will be your first opportunity to experience overnight in a Mongolian ger, offering a unique glimpse into the daily life of Mongolia’s herders.
