Yen Tu Mountain
Begin your journey at Bamboo Grove Temple (Chuk Lam Temple), peacefully nestled on the mountainside. Spend about 30 minutes exploring its tranquil courtyard, admiring the graceful architecture, and discovering the influence of Zen Buddhism on Vietnamese spirituality.
Continue to the foot of Yen Tu Mountain, a sacred pilgrimage site steeped in history and culture, and enjoy a tasty local lunch before ascending.
Ride the cable car to Hoa Yen Pagoda (534m above sea level) and Mot Mai Pagoda, surrounded by ancient pines and sweeping valley views. Then, take a second cable car toward the summit, where a short walk leads to the statue of An Gi-saeng, symbolizing enlightenment amid the misty peaks.
Your journey ends at the Dong Pagoda (Bronze Pagoda), standing 1,068 meters high—a tranquil sanctuary offering panoramic views that, on clear days, reach as far as Ha Long Bay. Descend by cable car and return to your vehicle.
