Itinerary
1
Buffalo Bill Center of the West
Pass by one of Cody’s most famous landmarks, home to five museums dedicated to the history, wildlife, art, and spirit of the American West. Your guide will share a bit about Buffalo Bill Cody and how this frontier town became the gateway to Yellowstone.
2
Heart Mountain
You’ll spot Heart Mountain off in the distance during the tour. It rises up by itself above the basin and you can see it from miles away across the open desert. Between the mountain views, Wyoming badlands, and wild horses, this part of Wyoming still feels untamed.
3
McCullough Peaks
We head out into the McCullough Peaks, a stretch of Wyoming badlands where wild mustangs still roam. It’s wide open country with big views of red badlands and distant mountains. There isn't much else out there besides horses, antelope, and open space. This is the quieter side of Wyoming that most people drive right past.
