Itinerary
1
Qorikancha
Our tour begins with the pick up at your hotel to immediately go to the Qoricancha temple, also known as the Santo Domingo Convent is the second religious site to visit. It is considered the most important of the Inca empire, but when detailing we will realize that its facade and interior correspond to the fusion between the Spanish Inca culture. Here we will also see very beautiful and artistic paintings.

2
Sacsayhuaman
The impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán is strategically built on a hill from where you can see all of Cusco. It is famous for its huge carved stones, some of which are 9 meters or 30 feet high and weigh more than 350 tons.
1 hour
3
Quenqo Chico
The third stop is the center of cults and ceremonies dedicated to mother earth, which is a little destroyed by time, but not so much as to call it ruins. History says that this was a cult amphitheater where the Inca dead were placed for ceremonies, the dead were stretched out on the trapezoid structures found there.

Puka Pukara
Pucara is also known as the red fortress since the stones with which it was built have turned this color due to its high levels of iron. In addition to the fortress you can see other archaeological structures such as aqueducts, enclosures and fountains. Due to the proximity it has with Tambomachay and its characteristics, it is believed that it constituted a strong military defense of this place

Tambomachay
And finally, we have the Tambomachay or the well-known resting place, just 100 meters from Puca Pucara. It is made from carved rocks, which form a beautiful set of channels and waterfalls, coming from springs. This is why this place was a water cult site. Finally we will take you back to your hotel.
