Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
The minimum time to give the Northern Ha Giang Loop any justness is three days. We call it jokingly ‘hurry, hurry’ to try to indicate that it would be three quite long days of motorcycling. It would be no possibilities for add-on activities like trekking and limits to time visiting the many attractions that the loop has to offer. The tour would still ensure the completion of the full loop with inclusion of Heaven’s Gate, the Highland of Stone, Dong Van, the Ma Pi Leng mountain pass and the backroads of the spectacular inner Ha Giang mountains. There will be no time for lazy sleep-in mornings, and we will be out on the road at 8 am each of the days. Possibility to self-drive or to ride pillio...

9:00 AM:
After a hearty breakfast in Ha Giang city, we set off towards Quan Ba district, located about 50 km away. As we travel along the winding roads, we enter the stunning Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark. Our first stop is at the majestic Heaven’s Gate. Here, you can take in the breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Son town below, framed by the iconic Twin Mountains of Quan Ba, surrounded by lush green rice fields. This is the perfect spot for photos and a moment of relaxation with a cup of local coffee.

11:45 AM:
We continue our journey to Tam Son Town for a delicious traditional lunch. Afterward, we head to Lung Khuy Village, where an invigorating 4 km hike awaits. Our destination is the mysterious Lung Khuy Cave, a hidden gem tucked away in the rugged hills. Explore the cave’s natural beauty for about an hour before we head to the Lung Tam Weaving Village, a place where local H’mong people continue the ancient art of linen weaving, crafting beautiful, handmade clothing.
A short distance from the weaving village is Bat Dai Son, a viewpoint where you can marvel at the awe-inspiring landscapes of Quan Ba, with its undulating hills and valleys.

5:00 PM:
We arrive at our homestay in Can Ty, a tranquil spot surrounded by nature. After settling in, we'll take a 2 km walk to visit the famous Lonely Tree (Cây Cô Đơn)—a 250-year-old tree standing proudly in the middle of a vast, open field.
In the evening, relax and enjoy a homestyle dinner, sharing stories with fellow travelers as you unwind and prepare for the adventure that awaits the next day.
