We have a geologist that explains all about the geology of how the geodes were formed, how they got to be only in this location, geology of the surrounding area and explain all about the history and geology on the drive and will point out things of interest on the way

Costco Wholesale Parking Lot next to the Gas Station. The collection location is around a 2 hour drive from the meeting point, most of the drive will be on dirt roads. So an Suv/truck is needed if you're going to follow us to the location. A liability waiver will be provided to be signed

Dugway Geode Beds
We will be collecting Geodes (rocks with crystals inside), some digging is required but we will provide all the digging equipment. My father (the geologist) will explain all about the geology of the area and will be answering any questions. We usually can collect at least half a bucket full of geodes while we are here.
