Travelers will stop at Bunárfoss waterfall, a peaceful waterfall located near the end of Skutulsfjörður close to the Engidalur valley. Surrounded by steep mountains and flowing glacial water, this hidden spot offers a beautiful place to enjoy the scenery and take photos. Guests will have time to explore the area around the waterfall, relax by the stream, and learn about the local nature and landscape of the Westfjords from their guide.

Travelers will ride along the shoreline of Skutulsfjörður, the fjord where the town of Ísafjörður is located. Surrounded by steep Westfjords mountains and calm coastal waters, this scenic stretch offers beautiful views across the fjord and toward the larger Ísafjarðardjúp fjord system. Along the way guests can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the area while learning about local life, fishing traditions, and the unique geography that shaped the town and surrounding landscape.

Skarfasker útsýnispallur
Travelers will stop at Skarfasker viewpoint, located at the beginning of the historic Óshlíð coastal road. This scenic overlook offers one of the best panoramic views over Skutulsfjörður and the surrounding Westfjords mountains. From the viewpoint guests can take photos, enjoy the dramatic landscape, and learn about the history of the old Óshlíð road, which was once the only connection between Ísafjörður and nearby communities along the fjord.
