After pick-up at your hotel in Bogota, head north to this circular mountain lake, about an hour's drive from the city.

Laguna de Guatavita
When you arrive, your expert guide will show you around and tell you about the rich history of the lake, which was believed to hide a treasure trove of gold from the indigenous Muisca tribe. You will also have the opportunity to purchase local handicrafts before being driven back to your hotel in Bogota.
