Ancient Irish monastic site, Church of Ruadhri, then commandeered by Normans and given to st Thomas Abbey before Henry VIII handed it over to current encombents ancestor, William Brabazon for numerous battle victories in purstuir of the estab;lishment of protestantism, largely against Irish Lords, Brabazon is seen as the catalyst for the systematic destruction of the Ancient Gaelic order.
