Gjirokaster Mosque
The Gjirokastër Mosque, also known as the Bazaar Mosque, is one of the few remaining Ottoman-era mosques in the city. The mosque was one of many in Gjirokastër before Albania's communist regime demolished most religious sites. On our way back to Tirana, we will take a short coffee break at Uji i Ftohtë, Tepelenë, a beautiful natural spring known for its crystal-clear and refreshing cold water. Surrounded by lush greenery and the serene sound of flowing water, this stop offers a perfect moment to relax, enjoy a coffee, and take in the scenic views before continuing our journey. Tepelenë, a historic town in southern Albania, is known for its stunning natural landscapes and rich history. It is famous as the birthplace of Ali Pasha and for its refreshing Uji i Ftohtë natural spring.
