Gheralta Rock
Upon arrival at Mekelle or Axum airport (preferably on a morning flight), you will be met by your guide and transferred to the Gheralta region, a scenic journey of approximately 2.5 to 4 hours. In the afternoon, enjoy a trek to the rock-hewn churches of Maryam Korkor and Daniel Korkor, perched dramatically on the cliffs and offering sweeping views of the Gheralta Mountains.
In the evening, settle into a peaceful community lodge in Megab or Hawzen for dinner and overnight stay.
