As of April 21, 2026, archaeological zones in Mexico have applied security measures that restrict entry with backpacks, suitcases, and similar items. For this reason, we strongly recommend bringing only essential personal belongings for the visit. Small items that fit in your pockets or in a compact personal bag are usually the most practical option. Certain exceptions may be considered, such as diaper bags, but entry decisions are made directly by the security personnel at the archaeological site. Our company is not responsible for belongings that are not allowed inside. During the tour, guests may leave personal items inside the transportation vehicle while visiting the scheduled locations.
•
For everyone’s security, guests may only return to the vehicle when the guide or staff announces the official boarding time. Travelers are not allowed to enter the bus or minibus earlier than scheduled, or stay inside while the rest of the group is visiting an attraction. Since other guests may have belongings stored inside, this policy helps protect the personal items of all participants.

Itinerary
1
Cancun
The tour begins in Cancun, where travelers are picked up from their hotel or from the meeting point confirmed for their reservation. Once the group is on board, the journey starts toward Yucatan and the Chichen Itza area, leaving the Caribbean coast behind and moving into one of Mexico’s most meaningful cultural regions.
This first stretch gives travelers time to relax, get comfortable, and prepare for a full day that combines Maya history, local food, cenote swimming, and colonial scenery.

Chichen Itza
Before arriving at the archaeological site, the route includes a brief stop near points of interest located close to Chichen Itza. During this part of the day, travelers will also enjoy a buffet lunch at a nearby restaurant, with regional dishes and traditional Mexican flavors.
After lunch, the group will continue with the guides toward the main entrance of Chichen Itza. Inside the site, travelers will take part in an approximately 1 hour guided visit through this ancient Maya city, learning about its history, architecture, cultural importance, and daily life during the height of the Maya world.
Once the guided tour ends, travelers will have around 1 hour of free time to explore the area on their own, take photos, walk through the site, and enjoy the atmosphere of one of Mexico’s most famous archaeological landmarks.

Cenotes were important places for the ancient Maya and were often linked to sacred beliefs and the underground world. At Cenote Saamal, travelers will have time to swim, cool off, enjoy the clear water, and experience one of the peninsula’s most special natural settings.
After the cenote visit, the route continues toward Valladolid. The drive to this historic city takes approximately 1 hour.

Travelers will have approximately 30 to 45 minutes of free time to walk around, take photos, admire the surroundings, and enjoy the authentic charm of this historic town before beginning the return route.
