Battlefield of Thermopylae
The Battlefield of Thermopylae is a site of great historical significance, located in central Greece. It is where the famous Battle of Thermopylae took place in 480 BC, in which a small force of Greek soldiers held off a much larger Persian army for three days. The battlefield is now a popular tourist destination and offers a chance to explore the ruins of the ancient battle and learn about the heroic efforts of the Greek soldiers.

The pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, where the oracle of Apollo spoke, was the site of the omphalos, the 'navel of the world'. Monastery of Hosios Loukas
