Your day begins with a convenient 8:30 AM pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. As you leave the vibrant city behind, you’ll journey toward the scenic foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, where your guide will provide a detailed briefing to ensure you’re fully prepared for the day’s adventure.

Imlil
The trek begins in Imlil, a charming village perched at 1,740 meters and renowned as the gateway to the Atlas Mountains. From here, you’ll follow scenic mountain trails through the enchanting Tamatirt Valley, passing the traditional villages of Ait Souka and Tamatirt, built from stone and clay that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Along the way, breathe in the crisp mountain air and admire terraced fields, walnut groves, and sparkling streams.
Your ascent continues to Tizi n'Tmatert Pass, reaching 2,280 meters, where sweeping views of the Imnan Valley unfold, revealing a tapestry of ancient settlements and rolling landscapes shaped by generations of Berber agricultural traditions.
The trek reaches its pinnacle at Adrar Talmrout, standing at 2,600 meters—a breathtaking vantage point where the vast Atlas range stretches out in every direction, offering an unforgettable panorama that embodies the majesty of the mountains.

Imlil
After celebrating your accomplishment, begin your descent toward Imlil, following a scenic route that reveals fresh perspectives of the surrounding valleys and peaks. Once back in the village, savor a freshly prepared lunch (not included) a well-earned reward after a rewarding day on the trails.
Feeling refreshed, you’ll return to your vehicle and journey back to Marrakech, with an estimated arrival around 6:00 PM. As you approach the city, you’ll carry with you lasting memories of dramatic mountain landscapes, cultural encounters, and the deep satisfaction of completing one of the region’s most remarkable day hikes.
