River Khwae Bridge
Bridge Over the River Kwai is the most important part of the railway track between Myanmar and Thailand by the Japanese in 1942. The railway track was built by he prisoners of war, who were forced to work in horrible circumstances. The aforementioned bridge was constantly under attack which made it life-threatening for the prisoners of war to work there. A large number of prisoners died there. The railway track is also called the Death Railway.
