Peñon del Isco
As we travel through the community of Pintag, we arrive at the Isco viewpoint, where the Andean condor rests. Along the way, we will see a variety of hummingbird species, including the enormous hummingbird, the Ecuadorian hillstar, the black-tailed trainbearer, and the Tyrian metal tail.
Next, we proceed to 4000 meters, or nearly 13000 feet, where we may witness various wildlife such as the paramo pipit, black-faced ibis, varied hawk, Andean Gull, and Andean Lapwing. Next, we move on to the "La Mica" lagoon where we may see a variety of bird species, including the Andean ruddy duck, Andean teal, Andean cock, silvery grebe, yellow-billed pintail, and others.
Following that, we'll head back to the "Tambo Condor" restaurant for a traditional Andean meal while keeping an eye on the condors and other hummingbirds. About 25 different bird species are visible. After that, head back to Quito.
