Srebrenica Genocide Memorial
Welcome to our tour to the City of Srebrenica, a place with a complex history that has shaped the region
Our first stop is at the battery factory, which was utilized by UN forces during the war in Bosnia. Here, we will visit the Museum of Srebrenica Genocide, one of the most modern museums in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The curator will personally guide us through the museum and share first-hand experiences of survival in the Srebrenica enclave. The museum is equipped with multimedia facilities that include a selection of movies to help you comprehend the events that led to the worst atrocity in Europe since World War II.
We will then visit the Memorial Room, where we will listen to stories of the victims, as narrated by a local journalist. A section of the Memorial Room is dedicated to the perpetrators of the massacre.
