Nazare
From Fátima, we embark on a scenic 40-minute drive to Nazaré, a picturesque coastal town famous for its colossal waves and traditional fishing culture. Marvel at the stunning views of the Atlantic from the Sítio cliffs, stroll through the charming streets, and immerse yourself in the local maritime heritage. If you’re lucky, witness daring surfers ride some of the largest waves on the planet.
Nazaré will also be our lunch stop, where we will recommend some of the best restaurants in the area, known for their fresh seafood and traditional Portuguese cuisine. You can savor a delicious grilled fish or a rich “Caldeirada” (Portuguese fish stew), but for those who prefer meat, there are also excellent options such as “Bife à Portuguesa” (Portuguese-style steak) or roasted lamb. This is the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the authentic flavors of the region.

From Nazaré, we take a scenic 30-minute drive to Óbidos, a magical medieval village encircled by ancient walls. Wander along its cobbled streets, admire the picturesque whitewashed houses draped in colorful flowers, and uncover the captivating history of this fairy-tale town.
As part of the tour, indulge in a tasting of Ginjinha, Portugal's iconic cherry liqueur served in a delectable chocolate cup—a true local treat.
After exploring Óbidos, we begin our final journey back to Lisbon, a comfortable 50-minute drive, bringing an end to an unforgettable day of history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes.
