Benefit from early morning pickup from your accommodation in Cusco at around 3:30 am, then travel by bus to the train station in Ollantaytambo.

From Ollantaytambo, take a 4-hour train ride to Machu Picchu, passing through scenic landscapes that offer plenty of photo opportunities.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, your guide will be waiting for you at the train station to escort you by bus to Machu Picchu. Travel for about 25 minutes through stunning mountain scenery before arriving at the site of the ‘Lost City of the Incas.

Enter the historic citadel for a 2 to 3-hour guided tour. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore the surrounding areas independently, including optional hikes to the Inca Bridge or the Sun Gate.

Return by bus to Aguas Calientes and enjoy some free time to explore the town at your own pace. Relax in the hot springs or visit one of the many restaurants or cafés. Later in the afternoon, board the train for the return journey to Cusco, where, on arrival, you will be transferred back to your accommodation to end the tour.
