Described as the most romantic ruin in Wales, Tintern really does imprint itself on your memory. With its towering gothic walls, intact until the destruction of the reformation, a photographers delight. Includes travelling time.

We'll stop off in Chepstow for an hour and visit the extensive castle remains. Includes travelling time.

Caldicot Castle And Country Park
In its beautiful setting of tranquil gardens and a wooded country park. Founded by the Normans, developed in royal hands as a stronghold in the Middle Ages and restored as a Victorian family home, the castle has a romantic and colourful history.

First stop is the Roman Amphitheatre at Caerleon, used by the occupying Romans BUT was it also the 'Round Table' of King Arthur? Includes travelling time.
