Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park
The Jozani forest reserve, lies between chwakabay and Uzi and it is the only remaining forest of
Unguja and represents a very important refuge for the fauna of the island. The beauty of Jozani
forest trip is the height of the trees and palms is just a breathtaking, ensuring that visitor have
wonderful experience. You can see the famous and rare Red Colobus Monkeys, Bushbabies, 50
different species of butterflies, 40 species of birds, and a variety of plants and trees while
walking through mangrove swamp boardwalk. The magrove boardwalk provides travelers with a
unique opportunity to view the unique magrove ecology, which may be quite enjoyable. Apart
from other Zanzibar attractions Jozani forest is an excellent spot to recharge and is the closest
you can go to nature
