Items | Fez: Sefrou and Bhalil Excursion
Itinerary
Berber city located about thirty kilometers from Fez, Sefrou is known from the 12th century. It is then a meeting point between the north of the country and the Tafilalet valley in the south. Sefrou is appreciated for its waterfalls, the diversity of its landscapes that can be admired from the sanctuary of Sidi Ali Bousserghine.
Sefrou is today an important agricultural center which shows the richness of its productions during the Cherry Festival in June. A few kilometers away, by a road that climbs amid olive groves, we arrive at Bhalil, famous for its cave dwellings.
