Your experienced, knowledgeable, (English;french;spanich)-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel or riad at 10 am to explore Fes Medina and its souks. You will get to see the world famous tanneries, the oldest university in the world and stunning coranic school, and get a tour of the city walls and the lovely gates that lead visit Seffarine Square where you can see (and hear!) the metalworkers playing there trade in the traditional manner using copper, brass and pewter. On you go through the snaking passageways to visit the famous tanneries then the Al-Quarawiyyine University, the oldest university in the world and very important to Islam and gloriously decorated and recently restored to its ancient glory, and then the exotic aromatic spices and fresh, piled vegetables in the Attarine souk to the exquisitely decorated Attarine medersa and then you visit the Nejjarine square and its beautiful mozaic, blue and white public fountain and the Woodwork Museum and caravanserai.
