Cacheuta is a small town in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, nestled in the precordillera of the Andes and on the banks of the Mendoza River. Historically, it developed around the arrival of the railway and the use of its hot springs, which were already known since pre-Columbian times.

Uspallata is an Andean valley known for its stunning mountain landscapes and rich history. It is a strategic point on National Route 7 leading to Chile, being a popular destination for high mountain tourism.

In Uspallata we will stop at a traditional mountain cafeteria to have breakfast and gather energy for the following activities

Puente Picheuta
It is known mainly for its colonial stone and sandstone bridge, which was part of the route used by General San Martín’s Army of the Andes at its crossing of the Andes in 1817.

Parque Provincial Aconcagua
We will visit Aconcagua Park, when we arrive we can choose between 2 options:
- Walk 300 meters to the first viewpoint of Aconcagua
- Enter the second parking lot and make a 2 km trek to the main viewpoint of Aconcagua Hill appreciating along the way the lagoon horcones and mirror lagoon.
We will return to the vehicle to begin the return to the next attraction

Puente del Inca
After DE visit the Parque Aconcagua, we will visit the natural monument Bridge DE la Inca don de we can take photos, visit the fair of local artisans and take advantage to use toilets if necessary.

El Rancho
DE DE 3pm we will return to Uspallata (main town DE high mountain) for lunch a traditional mountain Mendocina grill.
There are alternative options such as pastas and fish DE well as vegetarian and coeliac options.
At the end we will return to the hotel after 2 hours DE trip to the accommodation
