Archaeological Museum of Chalkida
The site of the 5th c. temple of Artemis Aulidia is signposted from Vathy, but fenced and locked. The temple sits just inside Boiotian territory on a main land route from Chalkis. It adjoins a protected harbor. The temple foundations and the sacred spring across the street are visible through the fence. The temple is oriented to face the SE, possibly looking toward Delos, Artemis' birthplace. Beneath the floor of the 5th-century BC temple an 8th-century BC apsidal building was found with Geometric pottery. E of the temple is the roofed 'sacred fountain' with steps. SW a Hellenistic complex of pottery workshops (3rd-2nd century BC) has been brought to light and near these a hospice (îåíὼí).
In Late Roman times (4th century AD) baths were built in the area of the temple. The sanctuary was destroyed in AD 396, during the Goth incursions.

Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Χαλκίδας Αρέθουσα
The new Archaeological Museum of Chalkida "Arethousa" was inaugurated in May 2021 and is housed in the industrial building of the distillery "Arethousa S.A.'', a heritage monument of the early 20th century. A special thematic section brings to life, not only the building's history but also important elements from the history of Euboea, from the Heroon of Lefkandi, the colonization and the spread of the Euboean alphabet to the Sanctuary of Artemis at Avlida, the myth of Iphigenia and the Byzantine and Ottoman past of Chalkida.

The Ancient Theatre of Eretria
The ancient theatre is now situated in the theatre district, in Eretria Municipality, Evia Prefecture.
Its first building phase is probably dated to the last third of the 4th c. BC, while the second is dated circa 300 BC, based on an inscription from the reign of Demetrios Poliorcetes. During the third and final phase, after 198 BC, the stage building was extended.

ΕΞΩ ΠΑΝΑΓΙΤΣΑ
Prehistoric settlement and cemetery of the Early Bronze Age (3000-1900 BC), located in a fertile and strategic place on the Euboian channel near Chalkis.
A ten-year period of work at Manika was completed some time ago. Yet only a small part of the settlement has been excavated. Most of the site (around 600 stremmata) has been covered over by buildings, which have prevented further excavation.
