The Nine Arche Bridge is one of the engineering marvels of the early 20th century.

Elephant Transit Home (ETH)
The Elephant Transit Home takes care of injured, sick or orphaned baby elephants from all over Sri Lanka. About 30 young and baby elephants are fed four times a day.
When they are big enough to take care of themselves, they are released back into the wild and monitored there.
