Library Spain, located in the Santo Domingo Savio neighborhood of Medellin, is a symbol of urban and social transformation. It was inaugurated in 2007 as part of the library parks project, which was promoted to improve access to culture in vulnerable areas. Designed by architect Giancarlo Mazzanti, its structure is composed of three dark blocks resembling rocks on the mountain. This iconic building has received international recognition for its design and social impact. In addition to offering library services, it houses study rooms, community spaces and cultural activities.

Medellin Metrocable
The Metrocable to Santo Domingo is an air transport line that connects the northeastern communes of Medellin with the Metro system. Opened in 2004 as Line K, facilitating access to previously isolated neighborhoods. It is globally recognized for its social impact, reducing travel times and improving the quality of life of thousands of inhabitants in hard-to-reach areas.

Planetario de Medellin
The Planetarium of Medellin, inaugurated on October 10, 1984, is one of the most modern in Latin America. It is located in the north, next to the Wishing Park and Explora Park. It has a 15-meter fulldome digital dome (up to 6K), an auditorium for 200 people, scientific library, interactive spaces and exhibitions on astronomy and Earth sciences. Its mission is to make knowledge of the universe accessible through immersive experiences for all ages.

Parque Explora
Parque Explora, opened in 2008 in the northern part of Medellin, is an interactive science and technology museum with more than 300 practical experiences. Highlights include its freshwater aquarium, one of the largest in South America, along with a vivarium, interactive themed rooms, 3D auditoriums and a planetarium. Designed by Alejandro Echeverri, it promotes learning through play, curiosity and the appropriation of scientific knowledge for visitors of all ages.

Jardin Botanico de Medellin
Founded in 1972, the Medellin Botanical Garden is a 13-hectare green lung in the heart of the city. It is home to more than 1,000 species of flora, quiet trails, butterflies, lakes and the Orchidrama, an iconic structure that mixes architecture and nature.

Parque de los Deseos
Undado in 2003 and designed by Felipe Uribe de Bedout, the Wish Park is a 12,000 m2 public space next to the Planetarium and the Botanical Garden, created by EPM as a bridge between science, art and city. It has eight playful attractions (such as the sun clock, celestial dial and remote voices), an outdoor cinema screen and the Music House, a free cultural venue for concerts and rehearsals.
