Early morning: We will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada in a private air-conditioned car, commencing your overnight trip to Luxor from Hurghada. Upon your arrival in Luxor, you will be greeted by your private tour guide, who will accompany you on a journey through some of Luxor's remarkable historical sites.

Temple of Medinat Habu
Madinat Habu Temple: Our first stop takes us to the magnificent Madinat Habu temple. In ancient times, this site was known as Djanet and was believed to be the place where the god Amun first appeared. Both Hatshepsut and Tuthmosis III built temples dedicated to Amun here, and later, Rameses III constructed his grand memorial temple on the same grounds. You'll have approximately 2 hours to explore this fascinating site.

Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina)
Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina): Our journey continues to the Valley of the Artisans, also known as Deir el-Medina. This site served as the main cemetery for the royal workmen at Deir el-Medina and contains tombs built primarily during the 19th dynasty. Some of these tombs are notable for their size and decoration. By the 20th dynasty, the tombs were used as family burial sites for the descendants of the original owners. You'll explore this historical burial ground with its unique insights into ancient Egyptian life, and particularly, the lives of artisans who worked on the pharaohs' tombs.

Valley of the Queens: Our final destination for the day is the Valley of the Queens, also known as Biban el-Harim. This serene place was the burial ground for the wives of Pharaohs in ancient times, and it also served as the resting place for princes, princesses, and nobility. The tombs here were meticulously maintained by mortuary priests who performed daily rituals and provided offerings for the deceased. You'll have approximately 2 hours to explore this fascinating site.
