Ancient Roman Amphitheater
Morning Egypt promotion tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Alexandria and transfer by a private A/C vehicle to visit the Roman Theater, located in the modern area of Kom El-Dikaa. It includes the only known Roman amphitheater in Egypt, an impressively well-preserved structure composed of thirteen terraces. This was constructed in the traditional Greek style. A theater with marble seats up to 800 spectators, galleries, a section of mosaic flooring & a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman Villas and baths.

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa
Then a visit to The Catacomb of Kom El Shoqafa. This attraction is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. Tombs on three levels contain the Tri-cilium, where relatives used to sit on stone benches to feast the dead and a center with relieves of bearded serpents. Inside, there are 2nd Century AD statues of Sobek &Anubis wearing Roman Armor. Many of the features of the catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa merge Roman, Greek and Egyptian cultural points.

Fort Qaitbey
Citadel of Fort Qaitbey from outside: it’s a mixture between Pharaonic & Islamic histories as the fort is on the original site of the Pharos (It was Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse which built in 279 BC to a height of 12 meters and topped with the statue of Poseidon) & it was built in the 1480’s.
