Tempio di Segesta
The Temple of Segesta, located in the hills of western Sicily, is one of the most fascinating archaeological sites on the island. Built in the 5th century B.C. by the Elymians, the Doric temple stands out for its grandeur and state of preservation, despite never having been completed. Surrounded by a breathtaking landscape, it dominates the valley offering spectacular views. A few steps away is the ancient theatre, carved into the rock, from which one can enjoy a unique panorama of the Gulf of Castellammare.
