The Jardin du Roi spice garden is in the south of Mahe, continues the French tradition of the spice trade from the 18th century.
With its location in the hills of Les Canelles and between the valleys, the garden features rows of vanilla beans, citronelle, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper and other spices. You will also find medicinal plants and indigenous plants that will make you appreciate a perfect nature. You can have a tour of the garden, take photos of all the Seychelles endemic spices and plants.

Domaine de Val des Pres - Craft Village
Domaine de Val des Près is a heritage village in Au Cap, Mahé, showcasing traditional Creole culture.
Centered around a restored 1870 plantation house, it features local craft workshops, the Maison de Coco (made from coconut materials), and a Creole restaurant called Vye Marmit.
Visitors can explore authentic architecture, enjoy handmade souvenirs, and experience Creole food, art, and culture—all in a peaceful garden setting. Entry is free and it's a great spot for cultural immersion in Seychelles.

Takamaka Rum Distillery
Takamaka Rum Distillery, located at the historic La Plaine St André estate in Mahé, Seychelles, is the country’s only commercial rum producer. It offers guided tours, tastings, and showcases both molasses-based and cane-juice rums.
