The Slea Head Drive is one of Ireland's most scenic routes, forming part of The Wild Atlantic Way, beginning and ending in Dingle. It takes in a large number of attractions and stunning views on the western end of The Dingle Peninsula. It takes you on a journey through historic sites, Irish speaking villages, with close up views of the world renowned Blasket Islands.

Fahan BeeHive Huts
The exact age of The Bee Hive Huts is uncertain, and different theories date them anywhere from the eigth to the 12th centuries AD. It's likely hermit monks once lived i them, though pagan's may have also called some of the cone-shaped structures home even earlier. You may also feed a baby lamb at this location!

Dunquin
Dunquin is a Gaeltacht village which lies at the most westerly tip of the Dingle Peninsula. Dún Chaoin is renowned for its scenery and its surviving Gaelic culture.

Reask
Reask is a ruined early Monastic site. Although very little remains of the buildings but low walls and a cross slab standing stone which sits in the middle of the compound. This site gives a very good idea of the layout of a small monastery of the early medieval period. After the oratory was abandoned, the site was used as a children's burial ground.

Gallarus Oratory
The famous Gallarus Oratory is completely made of stone and resembles an up turned boat. Various dates have been suggested for its construction but an exact date for same is not available. Some believe it may be 1300 years old.
