Departure From Fairbanks

Pick-up between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM from your Fairbanks lodging.
Scenic drive southwest through the remote landscapes of the Parks Highway and the small communities of Nenana, Healy, and Cantwell. Looking for wildlife along the way of course. Unlimited photo stops as requested.
Once on the Denali Highway;
Afternoon of wildlife viewing, photography, guided wild berry picking, and hiking.
Learn about local flora, foraging ethics, and traditional uses of the berries.
We can also do a little prospecting and gold panning!
Arrive at the Lodge in early evening, settle in, and have dinner at the on site restaurant.
Then we wait for darkness and begin stargazing and aurora viewing (weather permitting).
