Continue to to visit step pyramid Djoser, an archaeological structure in the necropolis of Saqqara. It was constructed during the Third Dynasty in the 27th century BC for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser. The pyramid stands in the center of a massive mortuary complex, which is surrounded by ceremonial structures and decorations.
