The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities
The present museum building was constructed in 1900 in the neo-classical style by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon. The Museum exhibits collections that now exceeded 120,000 objects ranging from the pre-historical era to the Greco-Roman period.
