Mixquic
Our Mixquic Día de Muertos Tour takes you to the authentic village of San Andrés Mixquic (south‑east of Mexico City) where unique traditions honour departed souls. You’ll explore the decorated streets, visit the historic Church of San Andrés Apóstol, witness elaborate ofrendas and learn how families connect with ancestors through carefully arranged offerings, candles and cemetery rituals during this sacred celebration.
One of the key highlights is the “Alumbrada” — on the evening of 2 November, the cemetery surrounding the church is illuminated with thousands of candles and copal incense, creating a deeply atmospheric and moving experience
