Yungang Grottoes
Visitors to the Yungang Grottoes will encounter a mesmerizing blend of art, history, and spirituality carved into the sandstone cliffs. As they walk through the site, they’ll witness over 51,000 ancient Buddhist statues, ranging from tiny figurines to towering 17-meter-high Buddhas, their expressions and drapery frozen in time.
Among so many caves, caves 1 - 20 are more interesting. Travelers can explore the five main cave groups, each with distinct styles.
Pre-booking is simple, once the ticket has been issued, we will send you confirmation, and then you only need to show your passport at the entrance.
