Itinerary
1
Culburra Beach
An open surf beach bordered by Tilbury Cove to the South and Crookhaven Heads to the north. Humpback whales can be found sheltering in its protected waters from late September to early November. Low tides bring easy beach riding on fat-tyre bikes and plenty of stretches of sand to stop for a swim.
1 hour
2
Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse
After a cruisy beach ride, Crookhaven Headland makes a rewarding destination, from the secluded swimming holes, rockpools and surf breaks on the beach, to picnic tables flanked by scenic ocean and river views and indigenous cultural artworks a short climb up to the headland. A return hike to the historic Crookhaven lighthouse shows off some coastal banksia forest and impressive cliff-top views.
1 hour
3
Burradise Community Garden
Your beach bike ride starts at our hire shop in the heart of town, where you can enjoy a coffee at the community gardens and browse a vibrant selection of local businesses.
