Itinerary
You will learn and participate in the preparation of Rondón, the iconic dish of San Andrés and Providencia. Made with coconut milk, fresh fish, pork tail, or sea snail, and breadfruit—a rare fruit found in select places worldwide—it is cooked over firewood, allowing you to witness and experience the entire process.
Duration 25 Minutes: Start with a warm welcome, enjoy fresh coconut water, and learn about the history of San Andrés and its traditional cuisine.
Duration 60 Minutes: Join the chef to prepare Rondón over firewood, actively participating in the process. This includes making "Dumpling" (an island-style arepa) and adding fresh ingredients to the cauldron.
